Clonlara GAA Gym Information

• Gym membership is €60 per year to be paid to a member of the gym committee. Receipts are available from the gym committee. This fee is separate to annual GAA membership.
• A 24 hour camera system is in operation. Any gym members seen to be breaking gym rules will get one warning. Membership will be terminated if conduct does not improve.
• There may be occasions where we have to close the gym. We will do our best to let you know of such closures in advance of them taking place, unless the problem is urgent or an emergency.
• Access to the gym is through a key code door system which will be changed every two weeks
• A WhatsApp text group message for gym members will be set up to allow members receive access codes bi weekly.
• This text group will also be informed any time teams within the club would be using the gym.
• Should you notice any misconduct or mistreatment of equipment in the gym, please contact a member of the gym committee.
• The member is responsible for the consequences of any use of any of the facilities of the gym. The gym committee will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, costs, expenses, theft or damage to property.
• The member warrants and also represents that he/she is in good health and is not knowingly incapable of engaging in either active or passive exercise. The member further warrants that such exercise would not be detrimental to their health, safety, comfort, well-being or physical condition.
• The member acknowledges that they understand that they are responsible for their own wellbeing and safety during the unmanned hours and in the event of an emergency they will use the emergency help phone numbers to contact a gym committee member.
• The gym may expel members or may terminate the membership of any member without notice and with immediate effect if the member’s conduct, whether or not such conduct is the subject of a complaint by another member or group of members, is deemed inappropriate or unacceptable.
• A member whose membership is terminated by the gym committee, shall forfeit all privileges of membership with immediate effect without an entitlement to any claim for any refund of their annual membership fee.
Anyone without gym membership using the gym in a team gym setting are to pay €2 u16 and €4 over16, collect by team management.
I agree to the above terms and understand if I do not adhere I will be denied access to the gym.
