Sat 8th October, a date that will live long in Clonmore GFC memory.

The Junior C team played O'Hanrahans first and needed a performance similar to their semi final victory over MLR.

No need to worry here, the players gave their all, anything that was asked of them was returned in abundance with an excellent 2-13 to 0-11 victory.

Well done to the team and mentors Pauric Lawlor, Mick O'Neill, Clive Lambe and Stevie Byrne. 

Next up was the Junior A replay vs Leighlinbridge. The team realised how close we came to becoming undone in the drawn game, but this time there was a real air of expectation , coupled with a performance to match.

Clonmore produced a polished display , with some fantastic scores and a work rate that was in keeping with their form earlier in the year. The highlight was a goal for the ages , following 14 passes in a matter of 23 seconds, which despite the views of some detractors ,was one of the greatest team goals scored in a county final in recent memory

Congratulations to the team, mentors Ciaran, Paul , Paddy and Philip on their Championship and League double and hopefully a launch pad for more championships to come.
