Hard luck to our Intermediates who put in a trojan effort on Sunday evening before losing narrowly to Myshall. This was a close game all through with Myshall goals in the 15th and 56th minutes proving crucial, the second coming when there was only two points between the teams (1-11 to 0-12). Unfortunately, a late Clonmore onslaught just failed to yield the goal that would have won the game. Special mention to Shane McGrath for scoring a remarkable 0-10 in an outstanding display and stand-in goalkeeper, Owen Coleman, who pulled off a number of great saves. Our next Div 2 game is away to Kilbride on Sunday next, 27 June, at a time to be announced.
