There were two match three winners, who shared €150: Bridget Pendergast, Baltinglass (10-11-15-25) and Josie Sheehan, Knockanna (4-5-10-11). Promoter`s prize €20 was won by Declan Clarke, Waterstown, Rathvilly.

U12`s Emphatic Win In The SFAI National Cup

Slaney U12`s hosting East End Utd.(Kilkenny), got off to a great start and were two up after only two minutes, following fine strikes from Charlie O`Donoghue and Harry Keogh. The lads were relentless and three more goals arrived shortly afterwards a long-range strike from Charlie Donoghue; a brilliant solo goal from Odhran Nolan and a cool finish from Jack Murphy. East End came into it midway through the half and scored twice which left it 5-2 at half time. After the break, a super strike from Jack Murphy and a fine finish from Charlie for his hat-trick, secured an emphatic win and progress to the next round of the SFAI National Cup.
