Jackpot €20.000 was not won. Lotto numbers drawn on Tuesday 21 March were 6, 12, 14 and 15. There were two match three winners, who shared €150: Fiona Kelly, Woodgrove Avenue, Rathvilly (12 – 14 – 15 - 26) and Darragh Tallon, Mountkelly, Rathvilly (6-12-13-15). Promoter`s prize €20 was won by Clive Byrne, Fr. Cullen Terrace, Rathvilly.
Seniors Clinch Runners-Up Spot- Despite the seniors dominating the early stages, Dolmen had numerous opportunities to take an early lead but they couldn`t find a way past Colin Byrne in the Slaney goal. Out of nothing, Owen Coleman put an exquisite shot into the corner on 20 minutes, with the home side equalising before half-time. After the break Dolmen took the lead, before Peter Keogh headed home a Daniel O`Brien free-kick to equalise on 50 minutes. With 13 minutes left, an accurate corner from Daniel found Fergal Donegan at the back post, who headed home for full points.
U12`s First-Half Performance Earned Them Full Points- The lads, with the strong wind at their backs in the first-half, dominated all the possession, against St. Anne`s and broke the deadlock, when keeper Thomas `mossie` Keane gathered and he released a long ball to Timmy Jackson, who took a lovely touch away from a defender and calmly slotted the ball home for 1 nil on ten minutes. The lads doubled their lead when Timmy Jackson slotted home in the fifth minute, an excellent through ball from Peter Burke. Kallan McCabe`s powerful run and fine finish put Slaney 3-0 and on the stroke of half-time, Daniel O`Neill used the wind to great effect, when his spectacular long-range effort found the top corner, for 4 nil at the break, which set them on their way for full points.
