Jackpot €19.600 was not won. Lotto numbers drawn on Tuesday 24 May were 5, 6, 15 and 23. There were four match three winners who shared €160: Brian Foley, Tynock, Kiltegan Online ( 5-15-19-23); Marie Curry, Ballybitt (5-6-7-15); Alan Kelly, Tobinstown (3 -5 - 6-23) and Trish Harmon, Kiltegan (5-6-17-23). Promoter`s prize €20 was won by Michael Kehoe, Rathvilly Post Office. Carlow Cup Final: It was Carlow cup final heartbreak for the lads, as New Oak became the first club to win all four Carlow trophies. Slaney started on the front foot, having most joy down the right wing with Joe Thomson and Brandon Ryan combining well to set up chances but were denied by keeper Kelan Gaffney especially when he palmed away a goal bound effort on 20 minutes. When New Oak got their chances, they proved more lethal in front of goal with two fine strikes to lead 2-0 at the break, which set them on their way to the quadruple. The 43rd AGM is pencilled in for next week. Date and venue to be confirmed. Ex Slaney Juvenile Doing Well - Brandon Kelly was awarded the u19 player of the year for Hanover Harps. Ex Slaney Juvenile Doing Well - Dylan Sheridan was awarded Carlow Premier division Young player of the year. Ex Slaney Ladies Doing Well- Congrats to former Slaney rovers ladies players Rachel Whelan, Catherine Dempsey and Maggie Nolan on reaching the Leinster Shield final with Mill Celtic. Best of luck in the final from all at Slaney Rovers.
