Jackpot €18.900 was not won. Lotto numbers drawn on Monday 4 April were 18, 20, 26 and 29. As there were no match three winners, €150 was shared between five lucky dips: Samanta McGannon, Rathvilly; Martin Keogh, 11 Fr. Cullen Terrace, Rathvilly; Joan Sibbald, Michael Collins Park, Rathvilly; Lar Kelly, Rathvilly and Bill Darcy, Knocklishen, Rathvilly. Promoter`s prize €20 was won by Gabriel Deering.
U15`s Good Run Of Form Continues – In midweek, U15`s hosted Vale and opened the scoring early, when Daragh Corcoran timed his run to perfection in behind the their defence, to gather an in-swinging cross from Brynn Nolan on the left wing and rifle home on 7 minutes. Any response from the visitors was snuffed out in the midfield area, where Oisin Reardon reigned supreme to leave it 1 - 0 at half time. After the break, the home side doubled their advantage, following an excellent pass from Joseph Gibbons, which found Daragh Corcoran in space as he slotted home from close range to win 2 – 1.
B team`s Sterling Performance Against Nurney`s First String - It took a goal in the last five minutes of extra time for Nurney to advance in the cup. Despite conceding early, lads put in a sterling performance to draw parity, following a speculative long range effort from Aaron Broughall on the left wing, over a stranded keeper. They then deservingly took the lead, through a fine solo effort from Rory McColl, as he cut in from the right wing and evaded a couple of tackles to fire home for 1 – 2, only for the hosts to equalise in the last minute and then the winner, late in extra time, despite the best efforts of Jaden Doyle, Paddy Kelly and Tom Tallon.
A Team Win Their Derby Game v`s Parkville - After a scoreless first half, the lads broke the deadlock, following Rory mc Kernan winning a free, which Brandon Ryan whipped in a super ball to the back post for Daniel O`Brien to blast home on 74 minutes. Parkville`s response was an equaliser within a minute of the restart. Slaney ended the derby game the stronger, with Peter Kehoe teeing up an unstoppable shot from Brandon Ryan in the 88th minute, to reward the efforts of Mick Foley, Shane Murphy and Lubohir Lesko
