Stand out Moment From U14`s v`s Champions Burrin Celtic -Burrin Celtic, having been officially crowned U 14 league champions, found themselves a goal in arrears, early on, after Callum Brennan slotted home an early penalty on 15 minutes. St. Joseph`s U15`s Title Aspirations Hit The Buffers In Rathvilly- when needing a win to reduce the gap on leaders New Oak, they left Rathvilly with only one point. Our lads applied all the early pressure, resulting in Daragh Corcoran being fouled for a penalty which he calmly slotted home on 20 minutes, for a deserved half time lead. It was end to end action in the second half, a Joey`s free kick looked goal bound, only to be denied by the crossbar while at the other end, Dylan Byrne got in behind the Joey`s defence, only to shoot just wide of the target. Joey`s did equalise with 6 minutes to go, to earn a point. A great team effort from Slaney, with Oisin Reardan, Joseph Gibbons and Dylan Byrne standing out.
