On The Juvenile Front- Slaney U12`s and New Oak shared the spoils in Rathvilly on Saturday. In an evenly contested game, only one goal separated the sides in the first half when Kallan McCabe was first to react to a loose ball in a crowded goal mouth, to blast home the opening score. Early after the restart, the visitors cancelled out Slaney`s slender lead with a fine finish to share the spoils. Young Kallan brings his tally to 4 goals, so far this season, in home games. On The Juvenile Front- Slaney U12 hosted St. Patricks and they shared six goals in Rathvilly. Slaney got the perfect start when Daragh Corcoran finished off a fine cross from Oskar Breen on five minutes. Within five minutes it was Corcoran`s turn with an assist and a cool finish from Breen for 2-0. Despite having missed numerous chances to add to the scoreline, the lads found themselves 2 – 3 down late in the game before Oskar Breen levelled matters with a fine strike, to share the points.
