Jackpot €16,000 was not won. Lotto numbers drawn on Monday 13 September were 14, 17, 18 and 27. As there were no match three winners, €150 was shared between five lucky dips: Alannah c/o Bruno; Rian c/o Bruno; Trish and Fergal, Kiltegan; Sean Leonard, Rahill and Edel McGrath, Rathvilly. Promoter`s prize €20 was won by Michael Kehoe, Rathvilly Post Office.

Slaney`s Senior`s In Cup Final: Well done to the over 35s who recently defeated St. Fiacc`s 3 nil on their own patch, to secure the club`s first senior cup final appearance, with goals from Daniel O Brien, Owen Coleman and Dominic Byrne
On The Juvenile Front- It was end-to-end action between Slaney U12`s and St. Joseph`s which had a feast of goals. After conceding on five minutes, a clever ball in behind the Saint`s backline from Kirsten Doyle, put Kallan McCabe clear for the equaliser. Another super finish from McCabe for 2-1 at half-time. After the restart two quick early goals put Pats in the driving seat, with Kallan McCabe notching up a deserved hat-trick for Slaney.
Last Man Standing Competition makes a return with a first prize of €400. Entries cost €10 per entry and there's no limit on how many times you can enter. The first game/week begins on Saturday the 2nd of October. Forms are available from all committee members as well as most club members/players. Always a very well-supported fundraiser for the club and contributes massively towards the day to day running of the club which has increased hugely now with the super new pitches and facilities that has been put in place.
On The Juvenile Front- The highlights of the U14 v`s St. Pat`s match, was Taylor Ryan`s fine strike, following a cross from Callum Brennan on the right wing and Jack Corcoran`s solo run and finish before half-time.
Jackpot stands at €16.100. If Jackpot is not won and there are no Match Three Winners, €150 will be shared between Five Lucky Dips. Best of Luck
