Lotto numbers drawn on Monday 9 March were 8,10, 12 and 23. There was no jackpot winner. There were two match three winners who shared €150: Lorraine Kelly, Woodgrove Avenue, Rathvilly (8 - 12 - 16 - 23)  and Daniel Curran, Woodgrove ( 4 – 8 - 10 -12). Promoter prize`s Edel McGrath. On `Super Saturday`, Slaney hosted juveniles from both Bagenalstown FC and Nurney Villa and recorded wins at both grades. First up were Nurney Villa U13`s and they got off to the perfect start when awarded a penalty in the first five minutes, which was calmly slotted home by their top goal scorer Ian Cradock. A brace from both Darragh Corcoran and Daire Byrne put Slaney 4 -1 up at the break. After the interval, more goals arrived as Darragh Corcoran completed his hat-trick, Daire Byrne added another brace and a fine finish from Michael Ryan rounded off the scoring. Next up were the U12`s against Bagenalstown FC and they opened the scoring on 12 minutes following a shot by Jack Corcoran, which was parried by the visiting keeper and ball fell into the path of Sean Barrett, who made no mistake from six yards. Within six minutes Bagenalstown responded with a well taken equaliser. After exerting a period of sustained pressure, a super strike from Callum Brennan put Slaney 2-1 on the stroke of halftime. After the break both sides had chances to add to the score line but defences held firm, as the lads recorded their first `double` in the league, having defeated the same opposition in November. After Sunday - Premier favourites New Oak Boys will have to wait a bit longer to go top of the league, after been held goalless by Slaney, who are current table toppers. As expected, the hosts had the lion`s share of possession, but the lads were determined in defence and looked dangerous at times on the counter- attack. Their best chance of the half fell to Lubomir Lesko, but he failed to keep his effort on target. Early into the second Michael Foley went close to breaking the deadlock on 51 minutes, when he connected well, to an Aaron Broughall corner but his header skimmed the post. New Oak could have won the game right at the death, when through on goal, only to be denied by a defiant Fergal Harmon, who set a new club record of clean sheets in the premier division at four.
