Lotto numbers drawn on Monday 6 January were15, 20, 21 and 30 . There was no jackpot winner. There were two match three winners who shared €150: Eddie Kelly, Ballyhackett (10 - 15 - 20 - 30) and Peter Lennon, The Moate (07 - 15 - 20 - 21). Promoter prize`s Kevin Byrne. The highest scoreline in the Premier league last Sunday was Slaney Rovers defeating Ballymurphy Celtic 4 – 1in Rathvilly. The Bally boys began well enough going close with an early header but two quick goals for the lads rocked them on their heels. Nine minutes in Aaron Broughall`s corner was headed home by Daniel O`Brien for the opening score. It got better for Slaney five minutes later when Mick Foley applied the finishing touch to a superb centre from Seanie Furlong. With 20 minutes left, Eoin Curran and Dominic Byrne carved open the Celtic rearguard for Daniel O`Brien to net his second to make it 3-0. With five minutes left on the clock, Celtic converted a chance but any notions of a comeback were dashed when Kyle Byrne made it 4-1 to move Slaney up to third in the table. Organisers of the recent 5k fun run/walk to raise funds for the U12 team travelling to Blackpool at Easter for a tournament, would like to thank all who participated on the day.
