.Lotto numbers drawn on Monday 16 December were 5, 7, 23 and 28. There was no jackpot winner. There were three match three winners, who shared €150: Paula Cummins, Slaney Bank (05 07 23 29); Bruno Matassa, Bruno`s Take Away, Rathvilly (05 07 19 28) and Kevin Byrne, Woodgrove Avenue (05 07 20 23). Promoter prize`s Laura Kavanagh. In the Premier, Slaney A team hosted Hanover Harps and shared four goals but were left to rue missed opportunities. The lads began well and Daniel O`Brien cracked an effort off the post on five minutes, the first of four times that the goal frame would be struck by Slaney. Harps rode their luck and took the lead on 20 minutes. Opportunities came and went for the lads with Dominic Byrne`s effort going wide via the goal frame. Five minutes into the second-half Stephen Farrell`s shot struck a defender`s arm and Seanie Furlong despatched the resulting penalty. Harps took the lead again before the lads responded to level on 68 minutes, Aaron Broughall heading home from Eoin Curran`s corner. Slaney had two glorious chances to win it, Dominic Byrne denied by the post again. At the other end Kyle Lawlor denied Harps their chance of a late winner when he cleared brilliantly off the line to share the points in a game which Regan Murphy made his 130th appearance in Slaney colours.
