Lotto numbers drawn on Monday 24 June were 02, 05, 25 and 27. There was no jackpot winner. There was one match three winner of €150: Oliver Keogh, Ard Glass, Baltinglass ( 2, 12, 25 and 27).Promoter prize`s Molloy's. Seniors won on their travels winning 0-2 against Village in Bagenalstown. In the first half the nearest they came to scoring was when Mark Ryan blazed over the bar from close range just before the interval. In the second half, Village were well in control and should have scored but were thwarted by a great save by David Ryan. Lads got their chance when a super cross from Tommy Tallon found Peter Kehoe with time and space to blast home just inside the box for a vital 0-1 lead. This buoyed them on and doubled their lead in the final minute, when an Alan Ryan corner was knocked down by Tommy Tallon into the path of Declan Brennan who made no mistake from six yards for 0-2. Reminder -presentation night in Lawlors lounge on Saturday night which not only will celebrate the awarding of the club of the year award in their 40th season but the Division One league and cup medals will be presented. Also on the night there will be a reunion of the team of 1993 which achieved `hero status` with the lifting of the club`s first premier trophy- Carlow Premier Cup. Music by the B Sharps and admission is free.  |
