Lotto numbers drawn on Monday January 28 were 09, 20, 23 and 27. There was no jackpot winner and as there were no match three winners, €150 was shared between five lucky dips: Maeve Clarke,Waterstown; Kevin Byrne,Woodgrove Avenue; Mairead Foley, Kiltegan; Eddie Kelly, Ballyhackett, Tullow and Rena Doyle, Ricketstown. Promoters` prize Declan Clarke....Seniors hosted Nurney Villa and were at it from the start and were ahead early following two close range finishes by Dominic Byrne on 19 and 40 minutes respectively and a long range daisy-cutter from Stephen Farrell on the stroke of half-time set them up for a comfortable win. The visitors scored on 55 minutes with Andy Foley replying with a goal two minutes later to restore the three-goal lead. Dominic Byrne completing his hat-trick on 59 minutes and a late Daniel o`Brien effort rounded off the scoring. This was Dominic`s 11th league hat-trick along with 6 in cup competition, bringing his overall total to 17 hat-tricks - so far!......Club on the look-out for new players to start a new Over 35's Men's Team with the league kicking off in April.
