The lotto jackpot of €2,500 was not won. The numbers drawn were 03, 15, 18 and 20. As there were no match three winners, €150 was shared between five lucky dips: Mary O'Toole, St. Patricks Park, Rathvilly; Niamh and Alana Curran, 28 Woodgrove, Rathvilly; Mary Keegan, 1 Ballyoliver, Rathvilly; Trish Ryan, Knockroe, Rathvilly and Sean Leonard, Rahill, Rathvilly. Promoter Prize: Kevin Byrne. Seniors suffered their first defeat of the season, losing 1 nil to Celtic Stars who scored direct from a free kick on 15 minutes. Slaney for the remainder of the first-half, dominated possession with Seanie Furlong just wide of target on two occasions then had a goal disallowed before withdrawing through injury. In the second half Fergal Harmon was forced into two fine saves while at the other end Stars defence stood strong to hold onto their clean sheet, to move up the table just three points behind Slaney. On the juvenile front it was another win for our u12s who beat Hanover Harps 8-0 in Rathvilly, with goals from Darragh Cullen 4, Brynn Nolan 2, Kevin Lambe 1 and Dáire Byrne 1.  |
