The GAA operate an Injury Benefit Fund which is a self-funded benefit fund funded entirely from GAA funds with no outside involvement. In effect it is a benefit fund funded by members for the members. The GAA Injury Benefit Fund is in place to cover injury related costs which cannot be claimed elsewhere. In the event that your child incurs an injury while playing with the club and you wish to make a claim against the Injury Benefit Fund, the Murroe Boher Bord na nÓg Doctor must be consulted in advance to agree a treatment plan for the injury suffered. Note the clubs maximum exposure for any injury incurred is the maximum payable under the GAA Injury Benefit Fund.
