Players Code of Conduct

PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT

It is important everyone represents themselves respectfully when playing football. As a player, you have a big part to play. That is why every player must follow the Knocknacarra FC Code of Conduct. Whether you are starting a match or participating in training sessions, your duty as a player is to show respect and ensure the success of your team. You must work with your coaches and managers to ensure that you are constantly learning and developing.

I Will;
1. Always do my best
2. Play fairly and abide by the Laws of the Game
3. Never be rude to my teammates, other players, match officials, spectators or coaching staff
4. Shake hands with the other team and match officials at the beginning and end of all matches
5. Listen to my coaches and managers and respect their instructions
6. Talk to member of the coaching staff if I am unhappy
7. Never engage in, or tolerate, offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour
8. Always respect the match officials’ decisions
9. Applaud effort and good play as well as success
10. Let the coaches do their job and not confuse my teammates by telling them what to do
11. Encourage my teammates to show respect
12. Never criticize any player for making a mistake and understand that these are part of learning the game.

Failure to comply with club code of conduct may have penalties for players.
