TSSDL Medical Information

Dear Player /Parent,

The TSSDL is committed to providing its players with the highest possible medical/physiotherapy services.

If an injury is sustained at a TSSDL Academy training /game which may require medical treatment, the incident should be reported to the relevant manager, who in turn will liaise with the medical team.

Physiotherapy services are provided for all TSSDL Academy players who sustain injuries while partaking in TSSDL Academy sessions. Injuries sustained while playing with other teams or at any non-TSSDL Academy sessions/games will not be covered by the TSSDL’s insurance policy or treated by the TSSDL medical team.

If you are receiving medical / physiotherapy treatment from an external source, this course of treatment must be completed before any TSSDL medical team assessment can begin.

TSSDL provides medical / physiotherapy services to all its players. Any services sourced externally by players will not be funded by the TSSDL. If a player requires referral to a consultant or MRI/X-ray this referral must be arranged by the TSSDL medical team. Any referral arranged by an external source will not be funded by the TSSDL Academy.
