Govan Jolliffe-Byrne Memorial Under 13 Football Tournament - Our 3rd annual Govan Joliffe-Byrne under 13 football tournament took place on Saturday in glorious sunshine. With 16 teams from all over the country, this was a wonderful occasion. After a great days football, St. Pats Donabate won the shield and Douglas of Cork were crowned cup champions. Once again this was a magnificently organised event and we thank the huge number of people whose efforts made this possible.
Golf Classic - Our 20th annual Golf Classic takes place on the 6th of July in Malahide Golf Club. The cost of entering a Team of 4 is €300 and the day will be run on the same format as last year, with a shot gun start at 2.30 pm. The cost includes a round of golf for 4, a BBQ burger at the 9th hole during the round and a four course dinner in the Golf Club afterwards. Tee-box sponsorships are also available for €150 and for that your business will be acknowledged on the actual tee-box. Recent and Upcoming Games - Our AHL 3 team defeated Clontarf on Wednesday by the narrowest of margins to gain 2 very valuable league points. Our AHL7 team had an impressive win over St. Maurs, The under 15 hurlers were also victorious. Our senior footballers are back in action on Wednesday with an important league fixture away to Fingal Ravens at 7-30. Please support your teams.
Club Lotto - There was no winner of the €2,200 Jackpot in last Sunday night’s Club Lotto Draw and as a result the Jackpot increases to €2,350 for the next draw on Sunday 10 June. Mini Leagues – The Mini Leagues will take place on Monday 11 June (7 pm), Wednesday 13 June (7 pm), and the finals will be held on Saturday 16 June (11am). The mini leagues are for children aged 4 to 9 years of age. Cost is €20 per household. The Cúl Camp runs from 2 - 6 July and is for junior infants up to sixth class. The Naomh Mearnóg Camps 1 and 2 (for junior infants to sixth class) & the Pre-School Camp 1 and 2 (for children starting school in September) will be held on 16 - 20 July and 20 -o 24 August.
The Naomh Mearnóg High Performance Academy is for players from the Club’s Under 12 to Under 16 teams. A number of leading coaches and players will coach the players and the High Performance Academy will include skills development, nutrition advice and athletic development sessions and will be held on 31 July - 4 August.

Recent Death - We extend our sympathy to the Tyrrell family on the death of Mossey's wife Margaret. Her sons Brian and Liam both played for the club. May Margarets Soul Rest in Peace.
