Paddy Brennan World Cup 2022 - 25th June
The club’s annual end of season tournament, the Paddy Brennan World Cup, happily returns after two years COVID enforced pause on Saturday 25th June. This fun family day sees the club’s players (up to and including the U15s) getting the opportunity to play in a 5 a side format - and allows the parents, guardians, family members and friends to gather at our home ground and see the wonderful work done by the club coaches and volunteers.
It also provides us an opportunity to seek your support and contribution towards the rising cost of our winter training fees - as we are obliged to train off-site from October to March due to weather and lighting. The cost is in excess of €9,000 per season, which severely impacts on our budget for club equipment, and our key goal of developing an all-weather pitch.
On the 25th June, in addition to the games themselves, there will be face painting, live music, BBQ burgers and hot dogs, tea, coffee and soft drinks at the club.
Players must be registered by Monday 20th June and the fee - including free burger and drink - is €5. If you click on the link HERE and make sure you include your child’s name and the team your child plays in (Academy, U8s, U9s.... up to U15s).
When registering your child there will be the option to add a contribution towards winter training pitch costs - if you could add an extra €5, €10, €15 or more euro that would really help in trying to hit our target of €9,000 to cover pitch hire this autumn and winter.
