St Michael’s GFC - Return to Play Under Age Update
Dear Parents,
The long wait for returning to the training is nearly over. As per government guidelines non-contact underage training in pods of 15 will be permitted from April 26th. We are very much looking forward to welcoming all of the boys back to Páirc Mhicíl Naofa and preparations are being made to ensure a full and safe return for everyone. With that in mind please make yourself familiar with the following information:
Training Schedule for 1st week :
Underage training (all boys 9 and under): Sunday May 2nd at 10.30am (Boys born in 2012 & onwards)
U10 & U11 training: Thursday 29th April at 6pm - Sunday May 2nd at 10.30am (Boys born 2010 & 2011)
U12 training: Monday 26th April at 6.30pm - Friday April 30th at 6.30pm (Boys born 2009)
U13 training: Wednesday April 28th 6pm - Saturday 1st May at 10am (Boys born 2008)
U15 training: Monday April 26th at 6.30pm - Friday 30th April at 6.30pm (Boys born 2006 & 2007)
U17 & U18 Training: Wednesday April 28th 6pm - Saturday May 1st 11am (Boys born 2003, 2004 & 2005)
General Covid 19 reminders:
Please do not to send your child to training if they are close contacts of a person with COVID-19, are awaiting a test or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19
Please do not send your child to training if they are identified by the HSE as a close contact of a confirmed case of COVID-19 or if they live with someone who has symptoms of the virus.
Please do not to send your child to training if they have travelled outside of Ireland in the last 14 days; in such instances parents are advised to consult and follow latest Government advice in relation to foreign travel
Hand sanitiser will be available at the pitch. Hands should be sanitised prior to, and immediately after the session
We ask that adults would observe social distancing while on the sideline.
We will update you all on the Return to play protocol as soon as we receive an update from GAA headquarters.
Registration:
Registration is now open and easier than ever to pay. All players at all age levels must be covered to train, play and represent the club. Just click on the link below to access online registration:

Cúl Camp:
Following on from the success of last year's Cúl Camp we look forward to hosting one again this summer. This will take place from July 19th- 23rd. You can register your interest (including names of children who may be attending) by emailing:

St Michael’s Dazzler Camp:
We hope to finish off a great summer of football with a 3 day camp before the children return to school. This will take place from Wednesday to Friday, August 18th-20th.
There will be a discount for all children attending both the above camps. Details to follow shortly.
Lotto:
Thank you for your continued support to our weekly club lotto. Our lotto is not just exclusive to members, anyone can play. You can play online and opt to auto renew and never have to worry about missing a draw again. Tickets will also be back on sale on Sunday mornings. In supporting your club lotto you are helping raise much needed funds for the club.

Recent fundraisers:
Thank you to all who organised, sponsored and supported our recent Under Age Fundraisers - the quiz night and family bingo. We were delighted to hear such positive feedback from everyone. These events provided some much needed entertainment and time to come together while we could come together as a club.
