Seniors lose out to AGB.
Just like our Juniors, numbers for this fixture were very thin on the ground. In fact, nearly half of the team were made up of junior players. Despite this, it took two very well taken AGB goals from centre-forward Niall Mullet in first-half to see us leave empty-handed.
In the Keating Trophy/Senior Relegation follow-on competition, we have drawn Ashford. This match is scheduled for Sunday 13-Sep at 11:30am in either Avondale or Roundwood. If we beat the 2006 IFC champions we then progress to the Keating Trophy semi-final to face either Shillelagh or Coolkenno. Should we lose to our Division 2 opponents, a relegation semi-final awaits (against the losers of the Shillelagh v Coolkenno tie).
