Intermediate's top group
Our intermediates have made a great start in their quest to regain their senior status. With only one game remaining in the group atages M/E top their group with all of their games won. The team overcame a stern Abbeyknockmoy challenge on the first day out, with a high score win over Oranmore-Maree to follow. M/E most convincing display came against recently relegated from senior Kilconierion with the eyrecourt men dominating throughout. M/E fought back from a half time deficit to beat Kilbeacanty, while in their most recent encounter drew with a strong Cappatagle side in a very entertaining game. Now M/E can look forward to the knockout stages of the competition, taking a twelve week break before the championship starts again. Best of luck to all M/E players who made it onto the Galway intermediate panel as they begin to prepare for an All Ireland semi final.
