GALWAY CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TICKETING POLICY 2021
The following outlines the ticketing policy that Galway GAA will be applying to the Senior & Intermediate Hurling and Football Championship for the duration current COVID-19 restrictions and ensure adherence to the government restrictions that outdoor event is limited to 500 people at County Grounds (Pearse Stadium, Tuam Stadium, Kenny Park & Duggan Park) and 200 at all other grounds.

The Hurling MurderBall match is a hyper-intense, fast-paced goals only game with no referee and no let-up, as the ball is constantly in play.

We’re looking to put together a squad of 23 to play 2 games of mixed gender hurling every week, we welcome everyone to wear their club jerseys with pride.

10-Apr-2021 GAA announce revised Master Fixtures Calendar for 2021

The inter-county season will run from the weekend of May 8th/9th with the start of the Allianz Hurling League, to the weekend of August 28/29 when the All-Ireland Football Final will be played. The Provincial Football and Hurling championships will commence on the weekend of June 26/27.

The best hurlers from the GAA/GPA 2020 Joe McDonagh, Christy Ring, Nickey Rackard, and Lory Meagher Cups have been announced with confirmation of the teams of the year.

Joe McDonagh Cup Player of the Year – Conor McCann (Antrim)
Christy Ring Cup Player of the Year: Paul Divilly (Kildare)
Nickey Rackard Cup Player of the Year: Danny Cullen (Donegal)

17-Dec-2020 Sarsfields GAA Club's 20/20 Challenge Raises €10,000 For Galway Hospice
2020 was a challenging year for all but Sarsfields GAA Club have finished the year on a high with a €10,000 donation to Galway Hospice. During the month of September the whole community got behind the Club’s 20/20 Challenge, their goal to walk, jog, run, cycle or swim 20,000 kilometres.

Eighteen teams took part in this fundraiser enjoying activities such as Sunday morning walks, evening runs and relay events.
