Round Towers GAA Club Membership 2024

Please see below the list of registration options for 2024. The membership year runs from January 1st to December 31st and memberships must be paid in advance of any member commencing training with the club or using any of the club’s facilities.

Membership can be paid in 3 equal monthly instalments but only if the first instalment is paid not later than 31st January.

Please ensure that you use precisely the same registration details as last year. Do not change your email address or the spelling of members' names

The club endeavours to keep the membership fees as low as possible. The €260.00 rate for 4 or more children from the one family equates to only €1.25 per week per child. The fee for two children is €180.00 (€1.73 per week per child) and the €140.00 rate for a single juvenile equates to only €2.69 per week. The nursery and U6 membership of €40 per year equates to €0.77 per week.

It is not possible to run the club using the membership fees alone, in fact income from membership covers less than half of the annual cost of running the club which is more than €140,000 per year. In addition to operational costs, the club must also invest in the provision of additional facilities which are necessary to sustain the continuing growth and success of the club. For this reason, two optional payments are available for the 2024 season.

The first option relates to the club lotto, where playing for 52 weeks normally costs €104.00. There is now an option to play the lotto for a full year for €90 when you sign up with your membership. We would ask all adult members and supporters to please consider playing the lotto as the annual membership fees of between €0.77 cents per week and €2.69 per week are not sufficient to meet the running costs of your club.

The second optional payment relates to a Development Contribution to assist with the payment of the loans associated with the new facilities on the Old Road pitches/fencing/carpark/goalposts/ball stops and the upgrade of the carpark at St Brigid's Park. (both of these investments were absolutely necessary).

The optional development contributions are set at €25, €50 and €75 and if you are in a position to contribute to your club's development in this way it would be greatly appreciated.
