KC/Glenalbyn Multi Sport Summer Camp 2024

5 Week Multi Sports Camp,
Open to Children Born 2019 - 2011
10am – 3pm daily

Our Multi Sports Camp is suitable for children of all levels of ability between the ages of 5 to 12. The emphasis is on developing physical and sporting ability as well as providing children with the opportunity to experience creative skills in a structured and fun-filled environment. It is also an opportunity for everyone to socialise and make new friends.

Activities: A range of activities take place both ‘on’ and ‘off’ the pitch. Field sports including gaelic football, hurling, rounders, soccer, dodge ball and volleyball. Tennis on our full size all-weather courts is always popular as are creative activities.

Indoor programme and Wet weather activities are also provided and include activities such as art, talent show and quizzes.

  • Week 1:  Monday 15th – Friday 19th July
  • Week 2:  Monday 22nd –  Friday 26th July
  • Week 3:  Monday 29th July –  Friday 2nd August
  • Week 4:  Tuesday 6th August  – Friday 9th August (4 Day Camp)(As Gaeilge)
  • Week 5:  Monday 12th – Friday 16th August

WHAT TO BRING
  • Everybody must wear a gum-shield for the Football/Ladies Football activities
  • A Helmet must be worn for all the Hurling/Camogie activities
  • A limited number of Helmets and Hurleys are available to borrow.
  • Suitable playing gear: Tracksuit, Shorts and Football Boots
  • A change of gear or wet gear in case of rain.
  • A packed lunch** including a drinks. NB; ** We operate a “no nuts” policy.
  • Your own water bottle

All gear should be clearly marked with child’s name.
ONLY THE PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIANS CAN REGISTER CHILDREN


Cost: €110 per child per week, €200 (2 siblings) per week, €295 (3 siblings) per week.


Open to Members & Non Members of Kilmacud Crokes.
Please note you must book a full week.

 
We have reserved a number of places for children with additional needs or who might require additional support. If your child requires an SNA or additional support please e-mail info@glenalbyn.ie to verify availability.

First Aid Course Sponsorship

Ensure your Child's team has a First Aider pitchside for each training/match

Kilmacud Crokes have put together a training programme which will enable Kilmacud Crokes to have about 100+ qualified First Aiders in the Club and Community but we need your support to pay for this.

The accredited courses, which is an 8 hour commitment, will allow us to have a trained First Aid Person at the side of every pitch to keep our players safe.

Week Three: 10th June - 14th June inclusive – Football
Week Four: 17th June – 21st June inclusive - Ladies Football

For children born 2012 to 2018
U6 to U9 - Monday, Wednesday and Friday
U10 to U12 – Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Games will be played on the main pitch in Glenalbyn from 4.30pm each evening.

Family Membership - If entering a number of siblings across the weeks and the total comes to more than €145 you should choose the Family Registration option.

KC GAA August Summer Camps 2024

The Camp is open to Members of Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club ONLY

19th- 23rd August

Times: 10 am - 2.30pm Daily.
Location: Páirc De Burca, Glenalbyn, Stillorgan, Co Dublin A94E7K8

All players attending the Hurling/Camogie camp should have their own Helmet and Hurley, alternatively Helmets and Hurleys can be rented for the week of the camp at a cost of €5

All players attending the Football camp should wear a Gumshield


Kilmacud Crokes GAA Summer Camp incorporates a wide range of Gaelic Football, Hurling & Camogie activities, providing children with learning experiences in an environment of Fun & Enjoyment.  The Camps are open to boys and girls aged 5-13 years and are suitable for all, from beginners to children who have been playing for many years.

The camp is open to Club members only. Gaelic Football is played in the morning and Hurling & Camogie in the afternoon. Children must take part in both games i.e. Boys take part in both Football and Hurling; Girls take part in both Ladies Football and Camogie.

Players are divided into groups according to age and ability.  The emphasis of the Camp is on the acquisition and improvement of individual skills in a game based programme.

Each child with receive a Kilmacud Crokes Camp gift. Places are STRICTLY limited.  The camp will be filled on a first come first served basis.  Please note that payments are NON REFUNDABLE.

WHAT TO BRING

    • Suitable playing gear: Tracksuit, Shorts and Football Boots.
    • A change of gear or wet gear in case of rain.
    • Hurley and Hurling Helmet (Hurley's and Helmets can be purchased in the Kilmacud Crokes Club Shop which is open in the Club-house on Saturday mornings 10.30am to 1.00pm and Thursday Evenings 8.30pm to 10.30pm.) Alternatively Helmets & Hurleys can be rented for the week of the camp at a cost of €5.
    • A packed lunch including a drink.
