Ring Rowing Club Membership 2024

The membership fee includes use of all club facilities, boats and safety equipment. It includes contribution towards the running costs of the club such as insurance, purchase and maintenance of equipment, fuel and maintenance of the safety launch and affiliation with Rowing Ireland (RI) and the South West Coast Yawl Rowing Association (SWCYA)
Please Note:
Membership does not include individual RI registration for racing purposes which, if competing, will fall due before an athletes first race entry. RI registration includes RI insurance and runs for 12 months from Jan to Jan. RI registration can be completed on the Clubforce site.
Entry fees to the annual rowing Ireland Coastal & Offshore Irish Championships are separate per seat and should be paid as the competition arises.
World Rowing coastal rowing age categories for Worlds, European and Coupe de la Jeunesse are taken from age on 1st of Jan in the year of competition.
Rowing Ireland and indoor rowing competitions are age on 31st of Aug in year of competition.
The above is what all members will be categorized for competing at national events ran under the governing body of rowing “Rowing Ireland”. If selected to row in a team at fun regattas, local championship regattas or national championships. Selection is based on rowing capabilities, strength, fitness, and attendance. The coaches and selectors decisions are final.
