Campa na nÓg (Easter Camp) 2023

Campa na nÓg is a Gaelic Games Camp incorporating a wide range of Gaelic Football, Ladies Football, Hurling, Camogie and Fun & Run activities, providing children with learning experiences in an environment of Fun and Enjoyment. The Camp is suitable for children of all levels of ability.

Fun & Run is an activity involving a team of batters/kickers and fielders which is suited for all ages, genders and ability levels. It is particularly suited to meet the needs of people with disabilities

Gaelic Football and Fun & Run is played in the morning and Hurling,Camogie and Fun & Run in the afternoon. Children are encouraged to take part in all activities. The emphasis of the camp is on the acquisition and improvement of individual skills in a game based programme. Groups are arranged according to age and ability.

We have reserved a number of places for children with additional needs or who might require additional support. If your child requires an SNA or extra support please email info@glenalbyn.ie to verify availability. Once your place is allocated we will email you the details on how you can complete your booking.


WHAT TO BRING

  • Everybody must wear a gum-shield for the Football/Ladies Football activities
  • A Helmet must be worn for all the Hurling/Camogie activities
  • A limited number of Helmets and Hurleys are available to borrow. Otherwise they can be purchased in the club shop which is open (Thursday: 7.30-9.30/Saturday: 10.00 -1.30
  • Suitable playing gear: Tracksuit, Shorts and Football Boots
  • A change of gear or wet gear in case of rain.
  • A packed lunch** including a drinks. NB; ** We operate a “no nuts” policy.
  • Your own water bottle

All gear should be clearly marked with child’s name.
