LNER Community Stadium Kathryn Avenue Monks Cross York YO32 9AF, Yorkshire, England.
Introduction to Primary Rugby League for mixed abilities for both boys and girls. Please note all sessions will be non-contact based and take place on school grounds. Sessions will take place every Wednesday on the dates listed below, for boys and girls in school years 3 and 4 – limited places (places given on a first come first served basis). All sessions will run 3:20 - 4:20 pm. Dates are as follows: Wednesday 11th Sept, 18th Sept, 25th Sept, 2nd Oct, 9th Oct, and 16th and 23rd October. Each week is themed will help to develop movement skills centered around a specific technique, for example how to correctly hold a Rugby ball. All participants are asked to wear sports clothing similar to that worn in PE and remove all jewellery. Sessions may be held indoors or outdoors depending on the facilities available at the school and weather conditions. Please can we ask children to come prepared and dress accordingly to the weather forecast. A water bottle is also advised for the sessions.
