Laochra Óg Hurling & Camogie Club was formed to promote the development of Hurling & Camogie in the areas Clondrohid, Ballyvourney, Kilnamartyra, Macroom and the neighbouring regions.

Its primary aim is to encourage the involvement and participation of children, young adults and members in the activities of the club and in so doing contribute to their own physical, social and personal development.

The overriding objective of the club is to foster a strong community spirit in these areas and to provide a firm foundation for the future growth of hurling in the region.
