Cork Womens and Schoolgirls Soccer League Membership
There were still no nominations for the following positions for the Committee, Treasurer, Child Welfare Officer and P.R.O. The League cannot properly function if these positions are not filled. We are losing committee members and this leaves a huge void not only in the day to day running of the League but will also mean that we will not be able to continue with the League Centres, Cork Representative Teams and the Gaynor Tournament. With this in mind we are extending the deadline for nominations to the Committee to 8pm on Thursday 4th October.
The following are rule alterations/amendments from Clubs and Committee
From Douglas Hall LFC
Rule 52 Add the following
The Committee will decide on Competition Rules at the start of the season. Once the rules are set they cannot be changed for that season.
From the Committee:
Rule 13 Amend to

Rule 32 (a) Amend to Relevant ages for Calendar year season.
Rule 33 (d) Add
Once a player has played as a Cork Representative player, they will be considered a Cork Schoolgirls League Player, regardless of what League they are/were registered to.
Rule 35 Amend to

Rule 52 Add to the Douglas Hall Rule Amendment
unless in agreement with the majority of clubs.

All “League” and Cup/Trophies are to be returned to the designated Trophy Centre or Committee member, by the winning team properly inscribed from the previous year and cleaned, not later than 31st March for Schoolgirls and 30th June for Senior Womens.
We look forward to seeing you at the AGM and again we urge all clubs to seriously think about the future of Schoolgirls and Womens Football in Cork
Yours in Sport
