Congratulations: Multy GAA would like to congratulate Annie Dolan and all the Westmeath ladies and management team on their win in the all Ireland final against Wexford. A historic day for the lake county. iarmhí abú.

Under 17 boys: Congratulations to our under 17 boys who’ve reached a county final on September 26th versus inny shamrocks. The boys played with great heart and passion in their semi final against Milltownpass on Sunday 5th. Roll on the county final!

 

Under 10 girls: Well done to our under 10 girls team on Saturday 4th September who held a fantastic blitz on our home turf. A huge thank you to our coaches, parents and referees on making the blitz a great success. Massive thank you to Shandonagh, St Paul’s, and The Downs for travelling over. Photos of the blitz will be posted to our Facebook page this week.

 

Under 12 girls: Great performance from our 12 girls Saturday morning, 5th September, against Delvin/St Pauls at home. Some super defending and great scores taken throughout the game. Many thanks to Delvin/St Paul’s for travelling over.

Our under 12 girls were also out on Wednesday 1st September and travelled to Kinnegad to play against Coralstown Kinnegad LGFA. Our girls played with great heart and passion with some fine scores taken throughout the game. Many thanks to Kinnegad for their hospitality on the evening.

 

Deepest condolences: Multyfarnham GAA would like to express our deepest condolences to the Nugent family on the sad passing of Harry. Our deepest sympathies to his wife Miriam and his children, Vicky, Donna, Declan, Stacey and Debbie, extended family, neighbors and friends.

All Ireland Football ticket: Multy GAA have received 1 All Ireland Football ticket for Mayo v Tyrone on Saturday 11th September @5pm.

To be in with a chance to win this ticket, there is an online competition on our Facebook page and entry to this is €5.

Mother’s and others: Our mothers and others team travelled to Tyrrellspassladies LGFA for a friendly game Wednesday 1st September. 

The ladies played an absolute cracker with some fine scores taken throughout the game. Massive thank you to Tyrrellspass ladies for such an enjoyable evening with lovely refreshments and craic afterwards.

Best of luck: Multy GAA would like to wish all our boys and girls going back to school this week the very best of luck and especially to our under 6 boys and girls on their very first day of national school. And also the very best of luck to all receiving their leaving certificate results this week.
