HANDBALL:
St.Mellans Handball Club.
Season opening. As the
2020-21
season approaches we are trying to structure an opening of the alleys in St.Mellans for the coming season, due to the continuation of the Corona virus we trying to put procedures in place to coincide with the opening, even though hurling & football have been on going all summer our opening is a bit more complex due to our code being indoors, we are going to trial a short session next week of a few juvenile players that have already stated their intention to play this year to see how all our implementations work, all those involved will be contacted shortly.
Rules & Regulations. We will be implementing advisory rules both set down by government and the GAA as stated nationwide, these could change as time goes on and we will adjust as we go along, we will be entering via the “fire door” at the side of the glass alley which is situated at the back of the complex and we will have hand sanitation in place throughout, also “social distancing” will be implemented!, we are going to organise the coaching and the leagues for young and old so there won’t be any cross over of players, this year we will be have play over the 7 days of the week as to try and get time for all in the court, any other games for practise will have to booked in advance and filled in on the booking charts and all time slots must be adhered to stringently, we know that some times may not suit players or parents but as our hands are tied this year we ask all for as much cooperation this year until such time as all regulations pass.
Players Registration. Can anyone young and old that wish to play handball this season make yourselves know to Brendy on
0879927403
ASAP because we need to have a full list of player so we set up time slots for all to begin, thank you.
