Golf Classic:
Once again Mullingar Golf Club played host to our annual classic and another great day was held by the almost fifty teams that took part. As always, the course was in fantastic condition and despite the monsoon like conditions that prevailed the previous – and indeed the following day - we can only commend the green staff for having the course in such great order.
The winners on the day were the team from Wrights Windows of Allie, Dylan and Keith Powell and Darren Conlon closely followed by Aaron Mc Carthys team of himself, Darren Tyrrell, Paul Tyrrell and Ciaran Smith.
A sincere thanks to all those who helped organise the day and in particular to Mullingar Golf Club and their Captain the inimitable Paul Mc Gann who was a great host and we wish him well for the remainder of his captaincy.
Thanks to all our members and supporters who continue to play in the classic each year and to the other clubs that support the event. The classic has been a regular event for many years and is one of the social highlights of our annual calendar. Junior B Championship:
Well done to our Junior B side who qualified for the knockout phase of the Championship . The Blues won their first four games and were beaten by Ballynacarrigy on Tuesday. The group was unbelievably tight with the Blues, Milltown and Ballynacarrigy finishing level on points. However, the Saints qualify on score difference
KC Sports Competition:
KC sports is delighted to announce a new club competition where club members could win €100 to spend on kcsports.ie! Underage Update:
Weekly update!!!
Friday night concluded a busy week for the underage boys with our U15 Div 1 team qualifying for the Division 1 semi final, courtesy of a hard fought away win against Rochfortbridge.
Our U15 team, join the U13 team, who also qualified for a semi final with a good away win against Kinnegad on Wednesday.
The week started on a high note with our U17, Division 1 team, travelling to Lilliput Gaels to play their last group game. After a good win the U17 boys finished the group, with 3 wins out of 3, and so top the group qualifying them for a quarter final place.
The U13 and U15 division 3 teams also concluded their group stages and are waiting to play their respective quarter finals.
Our U7,8,9,10 and 11 teams continue to get lots of football between all the recent challenges and go games.

Our Senior Manager Declan Kelly brought his native Offaly to under 20 all Ireland glory after a dramatic win against Roscommon
Simultaneously Westmeath ladies booked their place in the intermediate all Ireland final for the second year running! Westmeath claimed victory over Kildare and will be looking to go one better than last year!
Congratulations to Declan, Lucy McCartan, Ciara Blundell, Vicky Carr, Leona Archibold and chairman Pat McCartan in the Westmeath backroom team on their fantastic achievements!!!
