Shane McGrath put the icing on the cake with a goal in the last minute after Jamie Walsh had brought a point blank save from the excellent Blues keeper, Anthony Core, and Owen Coleman had rattled the crossbar.

This was a well deserved win for the Clonmore Juniors who continued their good form from last year. They are a well balanced team with a nice blend of youth and experience and the fact that 9 players got on the scoresheet tonight is encouraging. Hopes are high that they can bring home some silverware in 2021.

Our next Div 5 game is against Palatine on Wednesday next, 23 June, at 7.30pm in Woodside.
