The Intermediates had to battle all the way to the very end to eek out a narrow win again in what has become our annual dogfight with the Fighting Cocks.
Having played against the wind in the first half, we found ourselves losing by 0-7 to 0-4 at half-time. The lads raised their game in the second half but still needed a point from the excellent Robert Bulmer at least 10 minutes into injury time to win the game.
