We extend sympathy to Michael Danagher Junior of The Paddocks Drangan on the recent death of his father Michael Danagher Senior of Carrick on Suir.

In his younger days Michael Junior played Soccer, rugby, hurling and football in his native Carrick on Suir, and since coming to Drangan Michael has been a very active coach and selector with St. Patricks hurling and football teams, with whom his son Conor is a very sound defender on several teams. Michael can also be seen on the roads of the parish as he prepares to do a Half Marathon in a few weeks. Claire is a regular member of our under 12 Ladies Football and Camogie teams, while Mia is a former member of our under age Ladies Football and Camogie teams but in recent times Mia can be found checking gates at South and Co. GAA matches and learning her trade from one of the best in the business, Catherine Mockler. Their mother Cara is assistant treasurer of St. Patricks ladies football club and also served her time as Treasurer of the Board of Management of St. Patricks National School in Drangan. May the soul of Michael Danagher Senior Rest in Peace.
