             Huge response to proposed trip to New York Easter 2025

The proposed trip to New York during Easter week 2025 has generated a huge response from Tinryland players, supporters and club members.

A well-attended 2nd meeting on Tuesday 30th July saw interest from 50 club members for the 5 day trip commencing on Wednesday 15th April 2025.

The Tinryland group will be based in the POD hotel in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn and the club will be linking up with 2 of New Yorks top GAA clubs namely Shannon Gaels and Brooklyn Shamrocks.

With 25 adult players willing to travel the meeting decided to proceed with the project and plans were put in place to confirm travel arrangements etc.

A ball point cost which includes flights and accommodation will be €1150 and a deposit of €250 will be required in the next 2 weeks from those willing to travel.

Those willing to travel should confirm their intention with Peter Scully at 087 6992067 by this coming Sunday 4th August.

All intended travellers should make sure that their passport is valid for 6 months following entry to the United States so all passports should be valid at least to October 2025. The required ESTA VISA form for each traveller can be completed in the club sometime in March 2025.

The next meeting to progress the trip will be held in the clubhouse on Tuesday 13th August at 9 p.m.
