St. Patricks GAA Club

We extend sympathy to Mrs Audrey Moroney, Ballynennan her Husband Padraig and Pat, Erin, Dawn and Turlough on the recent death of her Mother Mrs. Liz Twomey of Whites Cross, Glanmire, Cork. Since arriving in our parish over 20 years ago, Audrey has made a major contribution to life in the area, whether it was as a player with Mullinahone Ladies Footballers, helping St. Patricks GAA Club with whom Pat and Turlough regularly line out, St. Patricks Ladies Footballers or St. Patricks Camogie Club with whom Erin and Dawn are regular players, Audrey has always been available to help out whenever or wherever requested. Audrey has served on the Board of St. Patricks National School Drangan for several years and has also been a willing helper with Presentation Secondary Schools in Ballingarry and Thurles as well as Scoil Ruain, Killenaule. Pat, Erin, Dawn and Turlough have all been members of successful St. Patricks teams and with their schools, with Pat and Turlough having also lined out for South Tipperary teams. May the soul of Liz Twomey rest in peace.
