Condolences

The club extends its sympathy to the O Hara Family formerly Aughaboy on the sad passing of Brian O Hara. Brian was a member of the Sean Connolly Cup winning team of 1960 and he was inducted into the clubs Hall of Fame in 2020. The club also extends its deepest sympathy to the Reehill family on the passing of Paddy. May they rest in peace. 

 

U21 Championship V Clonguish Rd1

Commiserations to our U21 team who lost out to Clonguish by a single point on Sunday afternoon. A last minute penalty was converted by Clonguish to seal the win. Full-time score: Killoe 2-6 to Clonguish 1-11 

 

County Final DVDs

DVDs of both the Minor & Senior finals can be ordered at cost of €10 each. Please contact any member of the executive to place your order. 

 

Club AGM

Our club AGM will take place Sunday November 19th at 5PM in the clubhouse. Please contact the club secretary for nomination papers. (secretary.emmetog.longford@gaa.ie

 

County Final 2023

As the dust settles on our 14th Senior Championship title, a big thank you must be said to all our supporters who turned out in big numbers to support the lads in last Sundays County Finals, as well as decorating the parish in white & green with some brilliant displays in lead up. Thank you also to everyone who came out to wave and celebrate with the lads on the tour of the parish as well as to everyone who joined us in the clubhouse afterwards on what was another memorable occasion for the club. 

 

Upcoming Fixtures

Our Junior team face Gratton Óg in the Gilmore Cup Final replay on Friday evening at 8PM in Emmet Park. 

The U21 Championship continues on Sunday with our round 2 fixture v Colmcille taking place at 2PM in Fr McGee Park.
