Welcome to this week’s news and lotto e-zine. PEIL The replay of the senior football semi-final between Éire Óg and St. Pat’s has been fixed for next Sunday at 3.15pm in Aughrim. There is little doubt but the encouragement of supporters inspires players to put in that extra ounce of effort and hence is often described as the 16th man. We would urge you then, if you can at all, to come to Aughrim on Sunday and lend your vocal support to the Éire Óg cause. WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT A festival of hurling and football, centred on an attempt to break the world record in soloing, was hosted by Éire Óg on Saturday. It turned out to be an excellent, fun-filled day with a large turnout of children, parents and the merely inquisitive. U-12 FOOTBALL Monday 8th we travelled by coach to Blessington for our last away u-12 league match, a treat for all the players and a rest for the mentors. The joyous enthusiasm of the bus journey transferred to the field and both teams played excellent attacking football to come away with a convincing aggregate win THIS WEEK’S LOTTO: This week’s winning lotto numbers were 11, 15, 20, 24. There was no jackpot. Next week’s jackpot rolls over to 3,600.
