IOMÁINT - DEVELOPMENT SQUADS On Saturday 30th August, the County Under 14, 15 and 16 hurling development squads took part in their respective 'All Ireland' blitzes in Newry (U14 and U15) and Ferns (U16). Éire Óg Greystones were represented by Eoin Dorgan (U14), Kieran Sheehy (U15) and Sean Luby & Joe Harris (U16). Wicklow were in the B division of the blitzes and their opponents weredrawn from around the country.

PEIL NA gCAILÍNÍ Our u-12 and u-14 girls played the 1st round of their respective Championships (B) recently and had mixed fortunes. The u-14s beat Feargal Ógs and the u-12s lost (2-6 to 4-7) to An Tóchar in Roundwood. The u-12 defeat was particularly disappointing as the team had already won the B League. It was not, however, altogether surprising since the team was short of at least 5 of its 1st choice players.
