Welcome to this week’s club news,
Dave O’Regan Memorial Blitz: What an amazing day, Sunday 3 September was. There was glorious sunshine, lots of girls playing camogie, lots of coaches mentoring and lots of people having a great time. It really was an occasion redolent of Dave. A big thanks to all the organisers and to the clubs who sent teams, Kilcoole, Shankill, Cuala and Kilmacud. Adult Ladies Footballers Advance: A strong second half performance from our adult ladies football team saw them overcome Avoca and book their place in the in the Junior Championship quarter finals. The team have been showing good championship form this season, winning two from three of their group championship matches which included a victory Kilbride and a narrow defeat to Arklow.
Dermot Earley Youth Leadership Programme: Following on from the success of last year’s Dermot Earley Youth Leadership programme for teenagers aged 15-18, especially TY students, Éire Óg, Greystones is pleased to announce it is running the programme again this year. U7s Finish on a High: Our U7s played their final football Go Games monster blitz in Ballinakill at the weekend. This is this group’s first year to play blitzes. And it’s clear they’ve really improved their skills in the last two years, what’s more important is that they’ve had loads and loads of fun doing it!
Weekly Lotto: The winning numbers in last week’s lotto were 1, 16, 14 & 26. Nobody matched all four numbers to this week’s jackpot is €4,700. The weekly cash prize winners were Eimear Doran and David O’Neill. Get your tickets HERE.
