Welcome to this week’s club news, Senior Hurling Championship Opener: It was a defeat for our senior hurlers in their opening championship match at the weekend. On wet day not affecting the scoring rate, our opponents Carnew found extra gears to progress after weathering the storm that saw goals either side of halftime put us ahead early in the second half but the South Wicklow men unleashed their heavy artillery in a big second half performance to take victory. Next up, they face Kiltegan on 22 July in Aughrim at 7:30 pm.  Camogie Players in Capital for Blitz: It takes more than a bit of rain to deter our hardy U9 & U10 camogie players! Despite the inclement conditions, they travelled to Kilmacud Crokes yesterday to participate in a festival of camogie. They got a chance to show off their skills on the pitch and on the dance floor They even managed to take home some medals.  Summer Camp: Lots of our juveniles having lots of fun at our Cul Camp this week. There is still time to sign up for the club's summer camps. - For: Girls and Boys, U6-U13 age groups.
