Welcome to this week’s club news,
Doing it for Dave: Yesterday, Mark Donnelly ran the Corky City marathon in memory of Dave O'Regan. Dave was a much-loved juvenile coach in the club who died suddenly last year. He is remembered with love by his family and everyone at Éire Óg, Greystones and beyond. Mark (left) is pictured with Dave's Mum, Eileen O'Regan. Also, pictured is club member Brendan Donohoe whose daughter Amelia was coached by Dave.
Mark ran yesterday to raise funds for Wicklow Rapid Response which is a charity that means a lot to the O'Regan family. You can donate at https://bit.ly/3MMlpdF
Junior Camogie Team Defeated in Final: It’s a testament to the progress which has been made in recent years that this year, for the first ever time, we are fielding two adult camogie teams. Last week, our second team played in the junior league final against Avoca in Ballinakill on what was a beautiful summer’s evening. While ultimately the results went against us, it was great to get to the final. Read a match report HERE.

Wicklow Win: Congratulations to club player and juvenile mentor Billy Cuddihy (pictured here with son Tommy) who was part of the Wicklow senior hurlers backroom team who won the Nicky Rackard Cup in Croke Park this weekend. Billy also soldiered himself for many years on the county team, so it’s just a reward.
Yours in sport,
