Welcome to this week’s club news, GAA for Dads and Lads Kicks Off: Last week, we held our first ever GAA for Dads and Lads session. Dads and Lads is a social hurling and football programme for those keen to enjoy Gaelic Games outside the traditional competitive structures of the GAA. It’s for former “older” players and those who’ve never played before. On Monday we held our first football session while on Thursday it was hurling. Find out more at https://eireoggreystones.com/gaa-for-lads-and-dads/ Adult Camogie 100%: Our adult Junior A (1st) camogie team has made a blistering start to their league campaign. Last week they made the long journey to Kiltegan and came back with two precious points to make it two from two. They’re now sitting on top of the table as you can see. https://wicklowcamogie.ie/wp/fixtures/ Fundraising Lotto: Congrats to Edward Johnston and Aisling Carroll who bagged the weekly cash prizes in last week’s lotto draw. The winning numbers were 8, 15, 20 & 21. This week’s jackpot is €2,500. Get your tickets HERE County Calls: We’re sending our very best wishes to Oisin Murphy and Darragh Shanahan who are part of the Wicklow boy’s minor football panel who play Wexford this week. Also, well done to Fintan O’Shea who was introduced as a second-half substitute for Wicklow men’s senior footballers in the Leinster championship victory over Carlow yesterday. Finally, commiserations to Joe Prendergast who despite a fine personal performance couldn’t stop Wicklow U20 men’s footballers' defeat to Louth last week. Yours in sport, Daniel English, pro.eireoggreystones.wicklow@gaa.ie
