Welcome to this week’s club news,

Adult men’s footballers in Leinster action: Big match today for our adult men’s intermediate footballers. After defeating the Carlow champions in the first round, they now face Wexford kingpins, St Mogues of Fethard in the second round of the Leinster Championship. If possible, get down and support the lads.

  • Date: Sat, 5 Nov
  • Time: 1 pm
  • Location: St Patrick’s Park, Enniscorthy.

Tickets must be bought in advance online. There are no tickets available at the ground. Buy them HERE

Spook-tacular academy finish: All our academy boys and girls had so much fun at our Halloween end of season presentation. Unfortunately, the weather meant we couldn't finish the year on the pitch but that didn't dampen their enthusiasm and spirit! It was a great year with hundreds of children being introduced to the skills of Gaelic games in a fun and inclusive way. Can't wait to see you all in the Spring!

AGM: The Annual General Meeting of Éire Óg Clocha Liatha, GAA, Ladies Football and Camogie Club will take place on 10 November at 8 pm in the clubhouse.

U15 hurlers brave to the end: It was a brave effort by our U15 hurlers who just lost out in their cup final against Kilcoole this week. Having conceded two goals at the start of the second half, the lads fought their way back to a point down with three minutes to go. Chasing the elusive equaliser, they conceded a last-minute goal to lose by four. There was great skill and sportsmanship on display with hurling the true winner. However, after the game, the team was presented with the U14 players pathway cup. The team won this earlier in the year by going undefeated in this development league.

Referring course: With a shortage of referees, Coiste na nOg are now looking to recruit U11 referees in all areas of Wicklow. If you’d like to learn more about picking up the whistle, are 17 or over and would also like to earn some money, there are courses coming up for you. To register your interest, fill in this FORM
