Welcome to this week’s club news, Glory for Third Adult Men’s Football Team: There was more triumph on the adult men’s football front this week when our Junior D (third team) claimed their championship with a comprehensive win over Tinahely in Aughrim. This team has had a great year winning all five of their championship matches. There’s also a great mix on the team with thirteen U19 players seeing action in the match, while many people’s pick for “man of the match” Dermot Blake is 44 (sorry Dermot). Read a match report HERE.  U13 Hurlers Just Pipped: There was heartbreak for our U13 hurlers this week as they were defeated by just one point in a fiercely contested county final against Avondale. Between league, championship and challenge matches this was game number 27 of the season for this committed squad. There’s a great bond and positive attitude amongst the group, plus they’re passionate about hurling and representing the club. There was disappointment tonight but we will be back for more in 2023! Read a match report HERE  Fundraising Lotto: Nobody managed to match the four numbers in this week’s club lotto draw. The winning digits were 1, 9, 22 & 23. The weekly cash prize winners were Tom Horan and Oscar Short. This Monday’s jackpot is €3,100. Get your tickets HERE. Caman N Chats Ladies Blitz It: What a great addition our social camogie team has been to the club this year. Last weekend they played a blinder at the National Blitz in the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena yesterday. Winning two of their three matches just shows how well this group plays together. Well done ladies and a big thank you to the organisers.
