Welcome to this week’s club news, Intermediate Men’s Footballers in Final: A barnstorming performance from our adult men’s intermediate (1st) football team has seen them through to the final of the championship and within one win of returning to the senior grade. Four goals laid the foundation for the victory over local rivals Kilcoole. They now play Annaucrra in the final. Read a match report HERE.  It’s a big week for our second and third adult men’s football teams, with both in championship semi-final action. - 29 Sept, 8 pm Ballinakill: Junior B championship semi-final v Bray Emmets

It’s also a historic night tomorrow, (Monday) for our U14 camogie team. For the first time, our club has reached an “A” camogie championship final. They play Carnew at 8pm in Ballinakill. U14 Ladies Footballers Advance: Our U14 ladies footballers played some lovely stuff to defeat Arklow and progress to the “A” final of the U14 championship. It was a great performance by the girls as they blitzed their opponents to win on a score-line of 6-05:1-02. A hat-trick from Ciara O’Farrell proved pivotal. Looking forward to the final. The weekly cash prize winners were Matt Maguire and Jim Clarken. Get your tickets for this week’s draw HERE. U11 Hurlers Celebrate: What a great weekend it was for our U11 hurlers. They had a brilliant time in their min-league matches in Balinakill where they went all the way to the final and beat St Pat’s. To celebrate they did an impromptu parade of Greystones main street!
